What have I been up to since launching the site?

It's been a rough 2026 so far! I've had a lot going on that has prevented me from updating the site much, but I have managed to get some creating in. For those who don't know me, how about a little background first to give some perspective.

I have been creative all my life, but in the last 10 years that has taken the form of fabricating silver and copper jewelry, nearly from the ground up. I don't go out and dig ore or smelt it, I do use wire and sheet metal to create all my components though. I used to take my jewelry to craft shows, but this become too hard for me to do. I was diagnosed with a few chronic illnesses so my production time has to fit in around those. I manage :)

In 2024 I bought my first house. Then I lost the job that had made it possible to buy that house. Then my mother needed some help as her health was struggling, so my sister and I started taking turns staying with her to help her. Then in March 2025 she had a catastropic stroke. She's come a long way in the last year, we still trade off staying with her to help her so she's never alone in her house. This makes it really important that I work remotely in some form since I have to be at her house 6 days a week during the day. I have yet to secure this employment despite searching diligently for over a year now.

I started this site as a way to hopefully help bring in some money as I continue to look for remote work, since I can't get out to do shows anymore. I have been unable to set up my jewelry studio in my house due to my chronic illnesses, eventually I'll find a way to do that but we are just not there yet. I still have a lot of pieces that I made and will eventually get more of them up on the site. So I've been exploring other avenues of creativity. I am immensely enjoying learning watercolor, so that is what I've been doing this year!

I haven't made anything to sell yet, but here are a few of the pieces I've worked on as I figure out what I like and what I want to sell. I just got asked to set up booth at my city's Pride Festival in June! I'll have some of these available there as well as some of my jewelry! Details to come later.
